✵The postpartum constipation syndrome is also known as constipation syndrome of women after childbirth, a series of constipation syndromes of women following childbirth. They are also known as difficulty in defecation syndromes after childbirth.

✵Postpartum constipation is constipation occurring following childbirth, due to various pathogenic reasons. It is also known as constipation after childbirth.
✧In the TCM system, the pathogenic reasons for postpartum constipation normally are loss of water and blood due to childbirth, deficiency, and exhaustion of the stomach and intestines, lack of liquid and humor(body fluid), thus lead to constipation. In the case of distention and stagnancy in the abdomen after five to six days, this is the case of dry stool in the Zang-Fu-viscera, for it is dried and could not be discharged. If misdiagnosed as interior heat and use herbs which nature is cold, then Yang declining when Yin growing, varied syndromes broke out, risks.

⑶...., lose excessive volume of blood;
⑷...., Qi and blood are both deficient and weak;

⑴.Postpartum constipation, inhibited defecation, loss of excess blood, dryness in viscera and constipated, rough and turn hard.
⑵.Postpartum constipation, no defecation in five to seven days after childbirth, should Not take prescriptions randomly.
⑶.Postpartum constipation, deficiency and emaciation after childbirth, constipated and rough defecation. Herbalist Xu Shuwei ever proposed that there are three syndromes of a lady after childbirth, depression and veiling will sweat much, perspiration then constipated, thus difficult to use recipes.
⑷.Postpartum constipation, heat accumulation after childbirth, inhibited defecation and constipation.
