TCMfans.club has a long-standing policy of protecting our clients' privacy. Our commitment to protecting our customers' privacy is reflected in our privacy statement. The following outlines our practices for collecting, using, and protecting information on our website.
Our clients should have knowledge of the information we collect from you, and how we use and protect it. This policy statement (the "Policy") explains our privacy practices and policies.
- 1. Declaration
-
The website https://tcmfans.club (hereinafter abbreviated as "the website") is the only one in service. We have no other branches or representatives.
Canonical domain declaration: The bare domain (https://tcmfans.club) is set as the canonical domain. Visitors from the www subdomain (https://www.tcmfans.club) will be redirected to the bare domain.
The privacy policy covers the following topics: transparency regarding how we collect and use our clients' personal information; the website environment and communication; email use; security measures; third-party links; consent and updating this statement; knowledge and articles included; copyright; policy changes; reasonableness; etc.
We take our customers' privacy seriously and have taken the necessary protective measures! With our privacy-oriented policies and privacy-protecting practices, as well as the necessary privacy-enhancing measures that are installed and updated termly, we guarantee 100% privacy protection for all our clients.
However, to protect the privacy and rights of our clients, we take the necessary measures to guarantee the security of our clients' accounts. We also verify that the person requesting an update to your email address or other account information is the account holder.
- 2. Website Environments, Log Data, Cookies and Communications
-

Website environments: "Clean and green" is the basic notion behind our website. It does not contain any advertising software, including banner ads and ads in other forms, pop-ups, fly-ins, clickable ads, contextual ads, Google AdSense ads, video ads, email ads, fax ads, or post ads, etc., no computer virus and unsafe script. This concept of a "clean and green environment" saves our clients' time and protects online safety.
Log Data: Like many websites, a visitor stats counter is used to collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit the website ("Log Data"). It collects, monitors, and analyzes log data.
This log data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system type, and browser type. Log data is collected for statistical purposes, to improve our clients' experience, and to analyze unfriendly web crawlers (such as unfriendly bots and spiders) and spamming. This information is non-identifying; you do not need to worry about your privacy.
Cookies: Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. These cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer's hard drive.
Management of cookies: Popular browsers allow you to set up cookie management rules for websites. In short, you can block cookies from any website, except for trusted ones. This enables you to better manage your privacy settings. This website uses a visitor statistics counter and a share button that require cookies. You can browse the website without difficulty even if you have disabled cookies in your browser.
The ShareThis button installed on the website enables users to add pages to their favorites. For the share button to function properly, the browser needs to accept multiple cookies from ShareThis.
Communications: We use your personal information to contact our clientele by email and other information that is convenient for communication. The communications section is for consulting and we may contact users via email or other available and convenient methods.
- 3. Collecting and Using Personal Information
-
Collecting: When our client needs consulting services, the following personal information will be collected:
(a) Information needed for account setup (Title, Contact person's name or full name, Email address, Post-box address or physical address, City, Postcode, State or province, Country or Region);
(b) Information that is necessary for the consulting service. This information is necessary for our herbalist to help you;
(c) Other relevant information that our clientele sends to us, including clients' payment information, billing information, etc.
Using: The website uses our clients' personal information only for the purpose of providing related services and evaluating the necessary details for the health-related questions our customers consult about.
How long do we keep our clients' personal data? It depends on the length of service. For example, we need to use it to respond to your consultation about the service; as a result, it is stored while you are still using the service. Once your account is canceled, we will delete the data upon your request.
Minors and children under the age of 18: We do not knowingly collect personal information from or allow registration by anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, that information will be deleted upon notification.
- 4. Email Usage: No Advertisement Policy and No Spam Guarantee
-
Email Usage: The email address that our client provides is used for the following: (a) setting up an account and keeping in touch when necessary; (b) processing consulting service; and (c) improving the service level.
We do not launch unsolicited communication: It is a basic principle; herbalists abide by the ancient tradition that "herbalists do not knock at the door," so we will not contact our clients voluntarily unless they consult us.
No Advertisement: We do not send unsolicited emails, promotional emails, newsletters, or advertisements. Promotions and coupons are only updated on related pages of the website.
No-Spam Guarantee: We respect the CAN-SPAM Act and never send spam emails to anyone. Necessary anti-spam measures—including DMARC rules—have been configured to prevent spoofing and email spam, and protect our clients' right to be free from spam. DMARC is a protocol that verifies email senders and prevents domain spoofing.
The Anti-Abuse Working Group defines email spam as "junk email or unsolicited bulk email (UBE), is a subset of electronic spam involving nearly identical messages sent to numerous recipients by email. The messages lead to phishing websites or websites that are hosting malware. Spam email may also include malware as scripts or other executable file attachments." According to reports from Statista, "In 2023, nearly 45.6 percent of all e-mails worldwide were identified as spam, down from almost 49 percent in 2022."
- 5. Securing Your Data
-
Reasonable technical measures have been implemented to protect information transmission and prevent the loss, misuse, or alteration of clients' personal information. Some necessary measures are introduced:
1. Our client's data is stored in a secure data center. The data center has taken the following necessary measures to guarantee security, including: (1) 24/7/365 onsite security; (2) Key Card Access System; (3) HID contactless access control system; (4) FM-200 fire suppression system, etc. You can read a detailed introduction to safety protection on the safety protection page.
2. Information entered via the website regarding EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and electronic transactions is protected by TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption technology. TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 are the latest industry-standard editions and are supported by current major browsers. A LetsEncrypt® TLS certificate has been installed. It was created by the Internet Security Research Group (ISRG) and sponsored by the Linux Foundation and leading tech companies in the IT industry. "Let’s Encrypt is a free, automated, and open certificate authority (CA), run for the public’s benefit." It is trusted in 99.9% of major browsers.
Customers expect a secure environment. The TLS protocol and certificate provide a safe way for consumers to visit websites, communicate, and conduct transactions. They also guarantee that the person reading your information is a legitimate business owner or employee.
These security measures guarantee that the available consulting services are privacy-enhanced and protect our clients from risks. While the security of your personal information is important to us, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage method is 100% secure. We use commercially reasonable measures to protect our clients' information, and these measures typically work well enough to safeguard their privacy and safety.
- 6. No Third-Party Use of Your Information
-
Our clients do not need to worry about their personal information being shared with third parties. Based on our core values and implemented measures, you are protected against privacy risks.
1. We are an independent consulting service provider. No third party is involved in the consulting process.
2. We protect our clients' privacy rights, including their digital privacy rights. Except for the herbalist, no one else may access your personal information.
3. We do not share our clients' information with third parties. Information submitted by our clients during the consulting service will not be sold, exchanged, or transferred to any third party.
4. TLS (Transport Layer Security) is used to secure SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) by encrypting your email messages. Your email communications will be protected when your email server also supports TLS.
- 7. Links to Third-Party Websites
-
We have taken necessary measures to protect our clients from the risks associated with third-party websites.
1. We carefully build external links: Third-party links are provided solely to offer necessary conveniences—such as download links for software to read RSS feeds or service documents in PDF format. As of July 2024, approximately 11 external links have been added, primarily on FAQ pages.
2. We periodically check the safety and privacy policies of external links.
3. Two distinguishing features identify an external link: (a) The visual styling of a third-party link, and (b) an explicit third-party link declaration. For example, when you hover over a link to a third-party website (e.g., www.letsencrypt.org), the tooltip reads: "www.letsencrypt.org is a third-party website."
While we review the safety and privacy policies of external links, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites. We recommend following safe internet practices and independently verifying their security.
- 8. Consent and Updating This Statement
-
By using our services, our clients consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
To enhance our service quality and protect the privacy of our registered clients and customers, appropriate security measures have been deployed. These measures are updated on a regular basis, and we implement new measures to improve the client experience. We may update this Privacy Policy periodically by posting a revised version.
To stay informed about the latest changes, we encourage you to view this page regularly.
