There are relevant changes presented in the update till the date November 15th, 2020, the update was made carefully according to (a).the 2020 edition update, (b).the frequency of application, or application is no longer recommended, (3).the controversy, and controversial issues in the application, these changes are briefly introduced:
(1).1 kind of herb (and 1 kind of relevant botanical species) is deleted according to the latest 2020 Edition. The herb is: ①.Fructus Aristolochiae, originally it was introduced in the category antiasthmatics.
(2).3 kinds of herbs (and 6 kinds of relevant botanical species) are deleted for they are very rarely used or no longer recommended. These herbs are: ②.Radix Aristolochiae(and 2 kinds of relevant botanical species), originally it was introduced in the category diuretics. ③.Flos Daturae(and 2 kinds of relevant botanical species), originally it was introduced in the category antiasthmatics. ④.Semen Strychni(and 2 kinds of relevant botanical species), originally it was introduced in the category dispelling wind-damp herbs.
(3).8 kinds of herbs (and 14 kinds of relevant botanical species, 2 kinds of minerals) are deleted for the reason there are controversy in the application and availability, or controversy in negative effects, or controversial issue in safety for short or long term applications. These herbs are:
