 戴耀墀Dài Yàochí 戴耀墀 (Dài Yàochí), a herbalist of the Qing dynasty, whose life and deeds in detail is unknown, he ever lived approximately in the 19th century.

Main books and academic thoughts:


 Dài Yàochí's handed-down works is Shang Han Zheng Jie (the Correct Explanation of the Treatise on Cold-induced Diseases).

 Shang Han Zheng Jie (the Correct Explanation of the Treatise on Cold-induced Diseases), 4 volumes, it is a study works about Shang Han Lun (the Treatise on Cold-induced Diseases), the book was compiled by herbalist Dai Yaochi of the Qing dynasty. It was published in the Tongzhi tenth year (1871 AD). At the beginning of the book, there are prefaces by 程景 (Chéng Jǐngxian) and 萬邦福 (Wàn Bāngfú) and a preface by Dài Yàochí himself. The first volume is about the exterior syndromes of Taiyang; the second volume is about the exterior and interior syndromes of Taiyang, and the interior syndromes of Taiyang; the third volume is about the exterior syndromes of Yangming, the exterior and interior syndromes of Yangming; the syndromes of Taiyang and Yangming, the syndromes of Shaoyang, combined syndromes, overlapping syndromes; the 4th volume is about the syndromes of Taiyin, cold syndromes of Shaoyin, heat syndromes of Shaoyin, heat syndromes of Jueyin, and cold syndromes of Jueyin. A postscript by Zhou Xiaoqian is attached to the end of the volume. Each chapter has an entry about pulse identification and syndrome identification. It pointed out that the six channels should be distinguished in diagnosis firstly, the eight principal syndrome differentiations are integrated into the syndrome differentiation of the six channels theory.
