The treatment of these two syndromes, should regulate and harmonize the stomach and spleen, replenish and nourish the heart blood, wait till the wills get firm and spirit get quiet, Qi circulation is in smooth state and mind is in a calm state, it will recover." "Case after childbirth, a woman is affected by strain worry and pavor, loss much blood, suffers from dysphoria, or is frightened, fear in the heart. Other symptoms might be observed: dysphoria(irritable, abnormal depression).
Case after childbirth, a woman feels not quiet in her heart and blood, pavor, frightened and vigilant, uneasy." ⑴.A woman suffers from fright palpitations after childbirth, vexation(upset, perturbed) heat and depression, this is the case of Postpartum fright palpitations due to viscera-deficiency, other symptoms might be observed: depression and vexed under the heart, and pains, or dysphoria with smothery sensation in the heart and chest(heat vexation in the heart and chest), or abdominal pain, or depression in the heart, or heart deficiency and timid(cowardly), or no appetite or nausea(no food intake, or low food intake, feel sick or feel like vomiting), or tremble, etc.
⑵.A woman suffers from fright palpitations after childbirth, deficiency of Zang-viscera, palpitation in the heart, uneasy wills and minds, paraphasia(deranged speech), without self-knowing, this is the case of postpartum fright palpitations due to viscera-deficiency.
⑶.A woman suffers from fright palpitations after childbirth, heart deficiency, pavor and palpitation, uneasy mind and thinking, this is the case of postpartum fright palpitations due to heart deficiency and weakness.
