✵Herbalist Zhang Zhongjing defined the Wind affection, or Wind-induced disease in about 5 syndromes. These syndromes are all defined in details by his famous works:
Wind affection (Shāng Fēng).
[entry-01]. Wind, or Wind affection, is the first of Bǎi Bìng (all kinds of diseases and ailments), affect the face area, then goes downward to Yangming, enters the spleen in severe case; affect the neck and nape, then goes downward to Taiyang, enters the kidney in severe case; affect the body side, then goes downward to Shaoyang, enters the liver in severe case. The syndromes and deteriorated cases are different in forms, should be treated with difference separately, treat with cautions and much thought to avoid failure.
