✦The complexion-pulse differentiation of three meridians which could use the warm method is briefly introduced as:
✧In the case of endogenous hurt from a cold drink, although hurt the stomach first, but do not know the complexion and pulse are located in which meridians. In condition of complexion bluish-black, pulse floating or sinking not the same, string-like and weak, is hurt in the Jue Yin; In condition of complexion red, pulse floating or sinking not the same, fine and weak, hurt in the Shao Yin; In condition of complexion yellow and clean, pulse floating or sinking not the same, moderate and slow(retarded), hurt in the Tai Yin. (For these three conditions, the warm method should be used.)
Hurt in the Jue Yin.
✦In the condition of complexion bluish or black, or bluish-black, pulse floating or sinking and not the same, string-like and weak, is hurt in the Jue Yin, the meridian of the liver.

✦In the condition of complexion red or blood, or red and blood, pulse floating or sinking and not the same, fine and weak, hurt in the Shao Yin, the meridian of the kidney.
»Cases with plus or minus:case blood complexion; case pain in abdomen; case vomiting or throw up; case pharyngalgia(pain in pharynx); case diarrhea relieved but no pulse;
Prognosis: normally the prognosis is that the pulse continuous and powerful will recover, the pulse not powerful will not recover.
Hurt in the Tai Yin.
✦In the condition of complexion yellow or clean, or yellow and clean, pulse floating or sinking and not the same, moderate and slow(retarded), hurt in the Tai Yin, the meridian of the spleen.
»Case with plus or minus:case pain in abdomen.
✧Conclusion from herbalist 王好古(Wáng Hǎogǔ): better use pills for the case with constipation, better use decoction for the case with soft stool. As herbalist 仲景(Zhòngjǐng) said: "in the case strong Yin without Yang and stool is hard, should not use purgation method, if induce discharge then result in watery diarrhea with undigested food in the stool, and fullness in the abdomen." For the above three meridians, all with pulse floating or sinking and not the same, because they are all sole collapse conditions.
