Introduction: Antiasthmatics: an agent or substance herbs that relieves cough and asthma(or dyspnea), usually by ventilating,cleating or moistening the lung, or directing lung Qi downward, stringing lung Qi or resolving phlegm.

Semen Lepidii seu Descurainiae(Pepperweed Seed or Tansy Mustard Seed).
Brief Introduction: The Herb Semen Lepidii seu Descurainiae is the dried ripe seed of Lepidium apetalum Willd., or Descurainia sophia(L.) Webb ex Prantl.(family Cruciferae), used (1).to purge the lung for relieving cough and dyspnea with excessive phlegm, and (2).to induce diuresis for treating edema.
Fructus Perillae(Perilla Fruit).
Brief Introduction: The Herb Fructus Perillae is the dried ripe fruit of Perilla frutescens(L.) Britt.(family labiatiae), used as an antitussive, antiasthmatic and expectorant for treating chronic bronchitis with thin white phlegm and stuffy feeling in the chest, and also as an aperient for relieving constipation, often simplified as Su Zi.
Radix Physochlainae(Funneled Physochlaina Root).
Brief Introduction: The Herb Radix Physochlainae is the dried root of funnel-shaped physochlaina, Physochlaina infundibularis Kuang(family Solanaceae), used to relieve cough and dyspnea, and induce tranquilization.
