Yang tonic is also known as Yang-tonifying herbs, an agent or substance that tonifies Yang-Qi, used in treating Yang deficiency. Yang-tonifying herbs have functions tonifying Yang-Qi, and are used for Yang deficiency syndrome, with symptoms aversion to cold and prefering to warmth, cold in hands and feet, tasteless and hydroadipsia (not thirst), like hot food and drink.
