Other Identified Special Species of Lingzhi mushroom:(43).Ganoderma ochrolaccatum.
Botanical description: Ganoderma ochrolaccatum (Mont.) Pat is a fungus of the Ganodermataceae or Polyporaceae family and Ganoderma genus, it is commonly known as Ganoderma ochrolaccatum, Ochre paint Ganoderma, or Zhe Qi LingZhi. The basidiocarp (fruiting body) is perennial, sessile, suberinite to ligneous. The pileus (cap) is high horseshoe-shaped (U-shaped), sometimes hanging upside down from the top, 1.2–5.2 cm wide, 3–5 cm high, the surface is sallow (grayish yellow), fuscid to dark brown (black brown), has concentric ring grooves and ring edges, smooth, no lacquer-like luster; the edge is truncated; the context is blackish brown to pale chestnut brown, hard, 0.5–1.5 cm thick; the fungus tube is multilayer, but the stratification is inconspicuous (indistinct), the total length reaches 3 cm, dark coffee color (dark brown); the color of the pore surface in the later period is almost similar to the color of the context; the tube orifice is slightly round, 5 per mm (millimeter).
The husk is 1 mm thick, and its structure is composed of transparent, leptodermous (thin wall) generative hypha, and pachypleurous, brown skeletal hyphae, hyphae are stuck together and not easy to separate, generative hypha is 3–4 μm in diameter, and often forms a transparent layer over skeletal hyphae, skeletal hyphae are 4–6 μm in diameter, mostly are clavate, parallel arrangement, hazel (pale brown) to dark brown.
The mycelial system is a three-body type: generative hyphae are colorless and transparent, or hazel (pale brown), have transeptae, leptodermous (thin wall), 3–4.5 μm in diameter; skeletal hyphae are hazel (pale brown) to brown, pachypleurous (thick-walled) to farctate, skeletal part is 4–5 μm in dry diameter, flagelliform colorless binding hypha could be formed at the end tip of branches; binding hypha is colorless, pachypleurous (thick wall), curved and ramificate, 1–2 μm in diameter.
The basidiospores are oval (egg-shaped), broad-ovate (broadly ovate), or nearly broadly elliptical, double wall, the outer wall is colorless and transparent, smooth, the inner wall has spinules, hazel (pale brown) to brown, 9–21 x 6–12 μm.
Ecological Environment: Ganoderma ochrolaccatum (Mont.) Pat grows in mountains and forests. Geographical distribution: This species is mainly distributed in Dingan County of Hainan province, Emeishan of Sichuan province, China. Worldwide, it is distributed in China and Island countries in Southeast Asia.
