Other Identified Special Species of Lingzhi mushroom:(48).Ganoderma tsunodae.
Botanical description: Ganoderma tsunodae is a fungus of the Ganodermataceae or Polyporaceae family and Ganoderma genus, it is commonly known as Ganoderma tsunodae, Rough skin Ganoderma or Cu Pi LingZhi. Basidiocarp (fruiting body) is annual, sessile, succulent to suberinite. The pileus (cap) is fan-shaped or nearly spatulate (nearly spoon-shaped), the profile section (cross-section) is flat semiglobe (semi-spherical) to flat, 5–25 × 5–18 cm, thickness is 1.5–3 cm, the surface is coarse and rough, pale coffee color, backside gradually turns fumeus (smoke color), sometimes has radial wrinkles; the edge is thin or sharp, involute (rolled inward) when it is dried; the context is white, succulent, turns hard when it is dried, thickness is 0.5–1.5 cm; fungus tube is pale pink–gray, 0.8–1.5 mm long; pore surface is near white, turns light grayish-yellowish brown when it is dried; tube orifice is slightly round, about 4 per mm (millimeter). It has no prosthecae or occasionally has inconspicuous lateral short prosthecae, and irregular shapes, its color and rough state are the same as the pileus (cap), about 5 cm long, and about 3 cm in diameter.
The husk structure is composed of transparent, leptodermous (thin wall) generative hypha and pachypleurous brown skeletal hyphae, compositive hyphae are nearly in parallel arrangement, some interlace together, the parallel one is enlarged on tip, width is 4.5–6 μm, mostly is composed of generative hypha and has a clamp connection, tilted from context, but do not form sporiferous layer type.
The mycelial system is three-body type: generative hypha is transparent, leptodermous (thin wall), 4–6 μm in diameter, flagelliform colorless binding hypha is formed at the end tip of branches; skeletal hyphae are hazel (pale brown), pachypleurous (thick wall) to farctate, ramificate, 3.5–6 μm in dry diameter; binding hypha is colorless, pachypleurous (thick wall), branches are orthogonal, 1.5–2 μm in diameter.
The basidiospores are broad-ovate, double wall, the outer wall is colorless and transparent, smooth, the inner wall is slightly tawny, spinules are conspicuous, 16.5–21.5 × 13–16 μm.
Ecological Environment: Ganoderma tsunodae grows in mountains and forests. Geographical distribution: This species is mainly distributed in Xichou County, Yunnan Province, China. Worldwide, it is distributed in China.
